Lincoln Street Outreach emerged in response to the daily needs that surfaced in the Lincoln Street neighborhood in Worcester, Massachusetts. The humble beginnings accelerated during the COVID -19 pandemic to help serve food and build relationships with the folks who passed up and down Lincoln Street, many of whom have challenges with homelessness, addiction, and other low income needs where food access is not always available. Hope for Worcester and the team are invested in serving the needs of this neighborhood renewing hope to bring revitalization and transformation to Worcester County.
Located at 610 Lincoln Street, in partnership with Mission E4, the space is uniquely positioned for high foot traffic and public transportation access.
Faith, hope, and love are core values that represent our team and the community at large. The photo shows a glimpse into a “moment in the cafe” on a Tuesday morning. Already the people are saying they enjoy the relationships, warm food and drink, as well as a time to rest and recharge.
Nelci helped Riley enroll into a sober house and experience life transformation after being homeless. Riley has now entered through the workforce with our program lead, who has offered him a job.
