CORE PILLARS OF HOPE
FOR WORCESTER

Hope for Worcester is a non-profit organization whose mission is to revitalize communities and renew hope by collaborating with businesses, health and service organizations, churches, and individuals to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational needs within the city of Worcester and Worcester county.

About Us

CORE PILLARS

Be part of the HOPE happening in Worcester! Hope for Worcester currently focuses on three pillars of service:

Advocacy

We stand with you! Every good cause needs attention through supportive agents of change. We are all agents of change! Advocacy focuses on providing educational resources, referrals, raising awareness, and more. The Lincoln Street Neighborhood Meeting is one area of focus gathering together in pursuit of a better neighborhood. There are other policy efforts desired through neighborhood meetings and coalition building to advance addiction & recovery care as well as mental health support.

Collaborative Service Projects

Do you have a heart of service? Throughout the year there will be various opportunities to serve together and promote wellness among neighbors, such as litter pickups, food distribution or clothing drives.  Collaborative Service Projects are not always initiated by Hope for Worcester; but are often collaborative partnerships with the city & state, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, institutions of faith, and more!  If you would like to propose a Project, or invite Hope for Worcester to collaborate with your project, please contact info@hopeforworcester.org

Community Groups

These are groups based around an affinity! Currently we offer Faith and Fitness, Game Night, and First Responders Coffee Chapel. Faith and Fitness offers a space for people who enjoy sports, fitness, and overall physical health to have a place to come together to train and have a time of connection. Game Night is designed for those interested in board and card games to play together in a welcoming environment where faith, hope, and love are made known. The First Responders Coffee Chapel gathers workers in the Police, Fire, and EMT fields to share their joys and struggles of life in a safe environment over a warm cup of coffee. Community Groups are designed to create community through the power of relationships and faith.
