Hope for Worcester is a connector that provides community networks for the flourishing of the city.
Hope for Worcester is a non-profit organization whose mission is to revitalize communities and renew hope by collaborating with businesses, health and service organizations, churches, and individuals to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational needs within the city of Worcester and Worcester county. Our purpose is to provide a network of resources, services, and community events offering hope, love, and assistance to families, single parents, underprivileged, unemployed, underemployed, homeless, and those suffering within our community.
Hope for Worcester began in 2017 as a response to the Convoy of Hope outreaches held in Worcester the two years prior. The Convoy of Hope is an international relief organization that sponsors community events to help meet essential needs. Over twenty churches joined together in unprecedented unity to host the events. While the events were well attended, the feedback from the community was clear – events alone will not make a lasting impact. So, Hope for Worcester was created to renew hope and revitalize communities for sustained relationships, community listening, and ongoing outreach to meet the stated needs of community stakeholders.

We’re coming together to care for our community. Sometimes we're connecting them to services, to churches, or even to each other…we want neighbors to come and be relieved from the pressures of the day.
